Very belatedly, because I still take photographs on film the old-fashioned way, I am attaching shots of what I did with your railway sleepers.
They have replaced a crumbling edging to a pathway where the flower border and earth are above the level of the walkway and I am so pleased with them.
I have long hankered to have some railway sleepers of my own, and I know it was only three but we love looking at them. It was very interesting
to hear you talking about them, where they come from and so on.
More importantly, can David and I say a bit "thank you" to you for giving us your time on Easter Saturday, and also for showing us around
Strumpshall Steam Museum. Sadly we didn't have time to come to the open weekend but we enjoyed the wonderful personal tour.
